Regional State Traffic Inspectorate commented A video of the arrest of a young man at a gas station in Penza, which occurred on the morning of June 24.
According to the agency, the duty station received a report of a black Renault Sandero, whose owner was wanted on suspicion of theft. The car was found at a gas station, and the driver was taken to the police station for further investigation.
In the eyes of ordinary citizens, who have been anxiously following the news about mass raids on military registration and enlistment offices for a week now, this looked as follows: "An Interior Ministry officer got into the guy's car. The guy was taken away, and all the officers left. The guy's car was left at a gas station."
Judging by the context of the official announcement, the State Traffic Inspectorate "strongly recommended" that journalists and bloggers not link this detention to the mobilization and not mislead their readers.
