According to the deputy, after 16 hours of work, a specialist's brain begins to function at the level of someone with a 0,5 ppm alcohol level, and after 24 hours, this level reaches the equivalent of 1,5 ppm. In this state, driving, for example, is no longer recommended.
After 16 hours of work, at his suggestion, the shift personnel should take over.
In his speech, Panesh referred to based on the survey results The Doctor's Handbook service, in which more than a thousand doctors surveyed spoke in favor of banning 24-hour shifts.
