Three people were killed and five were injured in a drone attack in the Moscow region.
A large-scale overnight drone attack in the Moscow region left three people dead and five others injured. Residential buildings and civilian infrastructure in several districts of the Moscow region were hit.

Losses in Istra and destruction in Solnechnogorsk
All of the dead and three of the injured were residents of the village of Pionersky in the Istra urban district, according to regional governor Andrei Vorobyov. Specifically, a massive fire broke out at the site of the debris fall, quickly engulfing five private homes.
A dangerous incident was also reported in another part of the Moscow region. In Solnechnogorsk, two people were injured after a drone struck an apartment building, and a wall and windows were damaged in the building itself.
However, the geography of destruction that night was significantly wider. Various structural damage was also officially recorded in the village of Babkino and the city of Mozhaisk.
Official disagreements: How many drones were flown to the capital region?
In total, at least 81 drones were shot down and suppressed over the Moscow region overnight, according to Vorobyov. However, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin simultaneously cited a figure several times higher than the governor's.
"Since 20:30 PM, more than 350 enemy drones have been flying toward the Moscow region. Most have been neutralized by air defense forces on the outskirts."
Ultimately, despite assurances from Moscow authorities that most air targets had been neutralized before they reached the capital, the raid resulted in tragic human casualties and damage to residential buildings.
