Pavel Durov is on the list of terrorists and extremists
Founder of Telegram Pavel Durov added to Rosfinmonitoring's list of terrorists and extremists. Transfers to Pavel Durov's accounts will now be considered terrorist financing, RIA Novosti reports.
On the eve of the FSB excited a criminal case was opened against him on charges of aiding terrorist activity and Durov was placed on the international wanted list.
UPD: The Moscow fertility clinic AltraVita, which offers an IVF program using Pavel Durov's sperm, added a footnote to his electronic medical record regarding the Rosfinmonitoring agency's decision to add him to the list of terrorists and extremists.
The promotion is still in effect and remains free for women under 38 years of age (all costs were financed by Durov himself).
According to the founder of Telegram, he became a donor 15 years ago, during which time he has fathered more than 100 biological children in 12 countries.
At the same time, the pro-government Telegram channel Mash claims that
Durov's children who remain in Russia will not be able to receive the inheritance he was promised (unless his status as an extremist and terrorist is removed by that time).
At the same time, lawyers say that using the Telegram messenger is still legal, and even purchasing a premium subscription does not yet constitute terrorist financing.
The Investigative Committee also stated this: a separate decision recognizing Telegram as a banned organization has not yet been published, so there is no ban on the use of the Telegram messenger yet.
