Sparrow Vasya and his new family: A Tyumen resident rescued a chick and couldn't be happier with her pet.

Tyumen resident Anna Kazakova has had a sparrow named Vasya in her home for a year. It all started when Anna spotted a naked, yellow-mouthed chick screaming hysterically in the grass on her property. She took it home, but that same day, she and her husband discovered a sparrow's nest on the property and returned it to its parents. However, the very next day, the fledgling was back on the ground. Then Anna decided to take it back and nurse it back to health.

How a sparrow was nursed back to health: from syringe feeding to surgery

A large personal nest was built for the feathered newcomer. Anna fed him with a syringe every hour and kept him warm.

When the sparrow grew up, it was taken to a veterinary clinic: there, the bird's finger, which had healed improperly after falling from the nest, was amputated.

The injury didn't stop Vasya from growing into a healthy, fully-fledged bird. Now the sparrow happily flies around the apartment, plays with the family dog ​​and children, and loves giving the family "pedicures."
