To receive the "Peter and Fevronia" sign, love alone is not enough

Honorable sign "Peter and Fevronia" Ryazan spouses who lived in an official marriage will be able to receive 50 or more years oldApplications will be open from September to December this year, but obtaining the badge will be challenging.
"The key condition is that the award ceremony should be initiated not by the couple themselves, but by government agencies, local governments, or public organizations. It is to these agencies that the spouses should submit their application."- сообщают official media.
In addition, the spouses will need to gather a package of documents: copies of their passports confirming permanent registration in the region for at least 20 years, a marriage certificate, birth certificates of their children, and certificates of no criminal record for all family members.
If even one clause is violated, the couple will not receive the honorary badge. It is also not yet known whether any benefits or cash payments are provided for the award recipients. In some Russian regions, strong families are born on the "golden" and subsequent wedding anniversaries. get from 10 to 50 thousand rubles, but this useful legislative initiative did not reach the Ryazan region.
"To receive an award, you have to pass the GTO standards and undergo a medical examination," "This is humiliating. People should be urged not to go after incomprehensible badges," "Officials are used to awarding each other like this."- responded Ryazan residents in the comments.
The award itself also raises doubts. "NeMoskva" examined the legend of Peter and Fevronia—it contradicts family and universal human values. A girl from the Ryazan countryside forced the prince to marry her, otherwise she refused to heal him. The prince, however, deceived his savior, unwilling to marry a simpleton from the common people.
