Coaches at the Ufa football club have gone on strike due to wage arrears.

Children's team training has been suspended since September 1. Despite parents regularly paying fees, coaches claim they haven't received their salaries since March. The delays have persisted for nearly two years.

According to the former head of the football club's press service Sergei Tyrtyshny, The debt amounts to several million rubles. Some coaches have had to take out loans to send their children to school. Club staff are currently preparing an appeal to Putin and the head of the republic, Radiy Khabirov. Meanwhile, comments from outraged parents who paid for their children's training and are now left without it have already appeared on the latter's social media.

A month ago, the club's players complained about non-payment of bonuses: according to them, the debt had been going on since January.

Last week the tax service blocked Ufa's bank accounts due to a large debt of 28 million rubles.

Also last week, players from the Sibselmash hockey club from Novosibirsk complained the governor To Andrey Travnikov for five months of salary arrears. According to them, the lack of funding has jeopardized the team's participation in the Russian Cup in September.
