Drone attack in Bryansk region and hard landing of Mi-8
Five people were injured in the Starodub suburb of Bryansk, where a Ukrainian drone attacked a minibus. According to Yegor Kovalchuk, Acting Governor of the Bryansk Region, the minibus burned completely. Furthermore, in Starodub itself, another drone struck a car, injuring two men.
Consequently, an aviation accident has also been recorded in Siberia. Two people were injured in the hard landing of an Mi-8 air ambulance helicopter in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. There were four people on board—three crew members and a medic. According to the prosecutor's office, the helicopter was flying from Baikit to Sulomai, and the paramedic sustained a back injury as a result of the incident.
Dismissal of Yabloko observers in St. Petersburg
Around a dozen lawsuits seeking the dismissal of members of precinct election commissions and observers have been filed in St. Petersburg district courts. According to Fontanka, most of the lawsuits are against representatives of the Yabloko party.
For example, at polling station No. 444, the court removed commission member Pavel Golomzik after a conflict with the chairperson over a security bag. Golomzik himself stated that he wanted to sign the bag, but the chairperson snatched the document from his hands, causing it to tear.
Deaths after bear attack in Tomsk region
In the Tomsk region, a wild bear mauled two residents of the village of Sever who had gone into the forest to search for a cow that had strayed from the herd. According to the Investigative Committee, a 44-year-old farm worker went into the forest on September 18, and the next day, a 46-year-old fellow villager went searching for him.
The bodies of both men, suffering from lacerations, were eventually discovered by local residents in the forest. The predator that attacked them was later shot and killed by hunters.
Ekaterina Duntsova's detention at border control
Meanwhile, politician Ekaterina Duntsova was unable to fly from Russia to Yerevan to participate in the "Election Night" event. The cancellation was due to unexpected issues at border control.
Specifically, during the document check, border guards reported a sudden "breakdown" of the passport scanner. Due to the resulting delay, Duntsova missed her flight.
