People who forcibly sent men to war were detained in Penza, according to a relative of the victim.
A relative of the 63-year-old confectioner spoke about the detention of so-called "recruiters" Alexandra Glebova, who was kidnapped from the embankment Penza September 19, right on election day.
“We managed to detain and arrest those who forcibly brought Sasha there [to the military registration and enlistment office to sign the contract],” — the girl said on social media.
According to her, a criminal case has been opened. This information has not yet been confirmed by official sources.
Ранее сообщалось that Alexander Glebov Glebov lived alone and had no wife or children. While walking along the embankment on September 19, he was stopped by civilians and restrained, allegedly on suspicion of drug possession. Just an hour later, CCTV cameras in the building's entrance recorded two men entering his apartment with Glebov and staying there briefly.
The pastry chef contacted his relatives only the next morning, when he was already in Voronezh. According to Glebov, he was hit several times in the car and forced to drink water, after which he lost his memory. He woke up at the military registration and enlistment office, where he was beaten further and forced to sign a contract.
On September 22, he reported that he was on Ukrainian territory.
Reports of men being forced to go to war are coming in the Penza region since June. By the end of summer, the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs was forced to admitthat in the region there are people who, posing as police officers, detain men, and ordinary residents "In light of the current situation, they are increasingly coming to the defense of offenders, preventing them from being apprehended by real police officers."
Reports of kidnappings of men come from different regions of the country.
This week, volunteers from the "Veterans of the SVO" squad in Izhevsk statedthat unknown individuals are operating on behalf of their organization and expressed their willingness to assist in their capture. Today, the Telegram channel "Udmurtia Against Corruption" рассказал about a group of four people who started kidnapping people on a regular basis.
They allegedly post ads for part-time work, and the men who respond are taken to the military registration and enlistment office and forced to sign contracts. For each "volunteer," the group receives 400 thousand rubles. Moreover, before being sent to war, bank cards and loans exceeding a million rubles are issued in the names of those abducted. One of those sent to war left behind three daughters, whom he is raising alone.
