Good Morning in "NeMoskva": Neighbors, a Mentor, and Mira the Dog

Four heartwarming stories: a coffee shop waitress's greeting, a mentor for a teenager from Orsk, neighborly help in the Krasnodar region, and a dog found in the Moscow region.

Every morning is more pleasant with her.

Konstantin from Khabarovsk wished his favorite coffee shop waitress a happy birthday. He said Ksenia makes every morning a little sweeter. The waitress was touched, and everyone in the shop applauded and joined in the congratulations. The video went viral on social media, and dozens more people sent her kind words. "Ksenia, thank you for your hard work, your care, and the smiles you give us every morning," Konstantin wrote.

A friend for a child from an orphanage

Alexander from Orsk is participating in the "Mentoring" program, where an adult is matched with a child from an orphanage. The project launched in his city this year, and Alexander became the first mentor. "Timofey is a wonderful guy, he's 15 years old. Maybe someone else will want to become a mentor and help another child transition into adulthood," Alexander said. His post received a huge response, with many interested in joining the program. "We have people like you in our 11th grade. A huge thank you to them. I'm already 28, and we still talk and meet," wrote one reader.

Our beloved aunt Tanya

The neighbors threw a 70th birthday party for "beloved Aunt Tanya." She lives alone, her children are in other countries. Tatyana, however, helps out her neighbors. "All our children are surrounded by her love. She gives them pancakes, homemade noodles, cutlets, compote—everything! If someone is late, she'll take them to kindergarten, pick them up, take them for a walk, play, and, what's more, put them to bed if needed! And yes, we don't ask her to do this; it's 'inconvenient' for all of us, but she doesn't accept refusals!" said Anna from the Krasnodar region. On rainy evenings, the woman calls her apartment "Tatiana's Kindergarten" because that's where the neighbors' children gather.

The whole world searched for it

A dog named Mira was found in the Moscow region, and the whole world was searching for her. She escaped from her carrier near Sheremetyevo Airport and ran away. Mira was living in a shelter in Nizhnevartovsk. The shelter's director, Evgenia, flew in to look for her, as Mira no longer approached anyone. The dog was only captured with the help of a catcher and an injection. "I am incredibly happy. After all these days of searching, anxiety, hope, and fear, she is back with me. A huge thank you to everyone who participated in the search. To everyone who went out and searched, posted flyers, patrolled, spread the word, supported me, and simply believed with me," Evgenia wrote.
