1,305,000 rubles—a new record for regional payments. Karachay-Cherkessia has established the largest payment in the country for those who signed a contract to participate in the Special Military Operations.
Head of the Republic Rashid Temrezov said On increasing the one-time regional payment for SVO participants to 1,3 million rubles. Previously, contract soldiers in the region were paid only 100. Karachay-Cherkessia, a republic with by population 434 thousand people, was among the regions of Russia where those wishing to sign a contract with the Ministry of Defense were paid one of the lowest motivational incentives.
By his decision, Rashid Temrezov increased the pay for contract soldiers by more than 13 times.
Karachay-Cherkessia now pays the largest one-time payment in the country. In second place is St. Petersburg, where the payment amount has recently increased to 1,1 million rubles, on the third - Krasnodar, where they pay for participating in the war 1 million rubles.
In total, 43 regional support measures are in effect in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic for those fighting in Ukraine.
