Rostov Region Vice Governor Lilia Fedotova was arrested for two months.
Leninsky District Court elected A preventive measure in the form of pretrial detention was imposed on the official. As a reminder, a criminal case was opened against the vice governor for abuse of office while implementing the region's financial and credit policy.
According to investigators, in 2020, despite having available budget funds, Fedotova took out 12 billion rubles in loans from a commercial bank at an interest rate exceeding 6% per annum. This, according to law enforcement, caused 1,9 billion rubles in budget losses.
