Pay tuition, and send home those who fail the test three times. This is the approach the head of the State Duma Committee on Labor and Social Policy is proposing for migrant children.

About it Yaroslav Nilov said in an interview with TASS.

"...Children of foreigners take tests. They pass the tests—they have the right, they have the opportunity, they receive an education, but it's a fee. And this money should be directed to schools so that our exhausted, worn-out, and overworked teachers can receive bonuses."“- said Nilov.

He also believes that having migrant children in a classroom negatively impacts the academic performance of Russian children, so those who fail the test three times should be sent home:

"Then our children can't pass the Unified State Exam (USE) and the Basic State Exam (BSE). Why? Because teachers are distracted, because part of the educational process is devoted to helping those who are unable to study. Therefore, if they are unable to study, we shouldn't just give them the opportunity to pass the exam once and retake it a second time, but limit the number of times. Three times. If it doesn't work out? You go home and wait for your parents. Period."

Previously "NeMoscow" Wrote that more than 80% of migrant children will not be able to enroll in schools—they were eliminated even before testing.

"This will lead to an increase in juvenile delinquency, increased anger among migrants, and thus, tensions between ethnic groups. This will heighten nationalist sentiments among many parents and their children. And this is simply vile because it violates children's rights."- commented Honored Teacher of the Russian Federation, historian Tamara Eidelman.
