An Altai lawyer promised to continue to seek the repeal of municipal reform.
After the court hearing in Gorno-Altaisk, where the Supreme Court I refuse To repeal the municipal reform, lawyer Dmitry Todoshev addressed the crowd gathered outside the court. He was the plaintiff in the case.
"The last institution in the Altai Republic has demonstrated its dependence. But we will await the court's reasoned decision and see what legal arguments the judge cited [...] But we will fight to the end. I ask municipal deputies to fully represent the interests of the residents of the Altai Republic, to demonstrate that they represent the interests of the people, and not the interests of a few at the top. Citizens can demand a review of the republican law, which contradicts and does not serve the interests of the residents," the activist said.
He also wished that Vladimir Putin, the heads of the Supreme and Constitutional Courts of Russia, would watch this video.
"Victory will still be ours, I will fight to the end," Todoshev concluded his speech.
