A woman and a child died in a Saratov city park after a tree fell on them.

Information about the death of two people confirmed Yuri Yudin, head of the regional department for public safety, said a woman and a child were killed in a tree fall in a city park. Two more children and a woman are in the hospital.

The tragedy occurred on May 9, at around 2:30 pm local time (1:30 pm Moscow time).

Earlier, in the Orenburg park, due to a carousel breakdown suffered 20 people.

UPD: According to updated data, oak collapsed on the walkway near the rides for small children, where parents usually watch their children riding the carousels

UPD-2: A 9-year-old child (gender unspecified) and an 80-year-old woman were killed. The girls (ages 10 and 6) were hospitalized. A 42-year-old woman was also taken to a medical facility.
