In Moscow supporters of the Left Front picketed near the buildings of the Russian Government and the State Duma. The protesters held posters with the following slogans: "Increase child benefits!", "Families with children - 30,000 rubles for summer vacation!", "Money - for children, not oligarchs!", "Provide housing for orphans!", "Russia needs a left turn!" They called on officials to increase child benefits and also drew attention to the problem of providing (or not providing) orphans with housing.
