She sat on her owner's neck. The cat Altynka made her owner famous by following her everywhere.

More often than not, she even uses it—that's how Altynka travels with 86-year-old Yaroslavl resident Tamara Lipovskaya to the store, to the dacha, or just for a walk. Due to her grandmother's age, their outings are becoming less frequent, but the inseparable couple did not cease to be internet stars.

In childhood Lipovskaya spent five years in a concentration camp, grew up, got married, had children, then divorced and remarried. Only her love for animals remained constant—she worked for many years as a dog trainer. Her dogs demonstrated excellent training; some even "knew" how to count and perform arithmetic.

Altynka was given to her as a kitten by a neighbor at her dacha: her cat had kittens, the larger kittens were taken, and Lipovskaya took the last one. She taught her to sit, lie down, and give a paw. The cat also watches the commuter train window to make sure her owner doesn't miss the right stop on the way to the dacha.

"I'll be 87 soon. I've lived such a life, of course, I'm drawn to the earth. My blood pressure is rising. But so far, it's okay. Altynka has learned some new commands and also loves to show her fingers and her fist. I'm just worried about her, hoping that if anything happens, she'll end up in good hands."“She told reporters about her experiences.
