"Yesterday, immediately after the appeal, I was taken before a commission and told that, due to my incorrigibility, I would be transferred to a single cell-type facility for 12 months," reads a message posted on the politician's social media.

He notes that the year EPKT - This is the most severe punishment possible in colonies of all types.

"I feel like a tired rock star on the brink of depression. I've reached the top of the charts and there's nothing left to strive for," Navalny concludes.
