"Have children, citizens, have children. And then the state will forget about you."

The stories of two mothers of many children who were left without state support provoked mixed reactions from the audience. 

Thus, in Novosibirsk region A low-income family—a mother with 10 children—lives in a 30-square-meter house where the walls are rotting from damp. She also has a long waiting list for a car. Appeals to local authorities remain unanswered, so the woman went for help to the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia. The Investigative Committee has launched an investigation. 

And in Sverdlovsk region a family with 12 children deprived All child benefits were lost due to the old land plot in the village. Now the family lives on a salary of 50 rubles. 

People's opinions in the comments to these stories were divided. Some were perplexed"Why give birth if you have nothing to give to your children?" и "Why have so many children that you can't properly feed, clothe, and shoe?"

Others said that if government assistance is due, it should be provided. People were also outraged that families were being deprived of assistance amid constant calls to improve the demographic situation. "Have children, citizens, have children. And then the state will forget about you, and you'll have to cope as best you can. It's clear the state isn't obligated to support you, but then let them keep their 'have children' and prohibitions at bay.", - a reader wrote in a comment to news E1.
