In Khabarovsk Krai, ambulance paramedics recorded a video message demanding legal overtime pay.

Ambulance staff Vanino Central Regional Hospital recorded an appeal demanding double overtime pay, as required by law.

"We work one and a half to two shifts a month. And when there was no one to work in the village of Vysokogorny, we went there and worked two days straight to ensure the population didn't go without emergency medical care. As a result, our employees accumulated overtime hours that should be paid double. But we weren't paid," they say doctors in the video published by Activatika.

The paramedics switched to working one full-time "to demonstrate how dire the state of the ambulance service is in terms of staffing"—hoping that the Central District Hospital administration would bring their pay into compliance with the law. In that case, they are ready to "return to intensive work and provide the district with emergency ambulance services," meaning they will return to working one and a half to two full-time positions.

But the chief physician responded by issuing an order to reduce the ambulance staff, leaving only one ambulance crew for several villages with a total population of about 27 people.

"But the Central Regional Hospital's reports will show solid figures for medical workers' salaries.""— doctors joke and cite the current salary figure: about 30 thousand rubles for a full-time job.
