"She Hit Her Head on the Desk." A teacher-psychologist was charged with hitting children.

В Krasnoyarsk Kansk A teacher-psychologist at School No. 8 beat fourth-graders—they were under her class leadership. One of the students took off video, as the teacher yells at the boy: "Close it! You're an idiot." The boy responds rudely, and then the teacher hits him.

The video leaked online, and an investigation was launched. On November 23, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under Article 156 of the Russian Criminal Code (improper performance of duties related to the upbringing of a minor by a teaching staff member of an educational institution).

The department reported that this is not an isolated case:

"During class, the teacher hit one student's head on his desk because he was distracted and not writing down his notes. The defendant pushed another student because he was talking and disrupting the start of class. The defendant took another boy's pencil case and threw it at him."

Commenters in the "ChP Kansk" group generally sided with the student and condemned the teacher, but there were also those who, on the contrary, believed the student was to blame:

"When a 9- or 10-year-old brat tells an adult, no matter their profession, 'You should go to hell,' few people can handle it! The teacher didn't start acting like this out of nowhere! She shouldn't be getting physical under any circumstances, but it seems she just couldn't hold it together!" — the user writes Anna Santalainen.

Stories of teachers using violence against students are increasingly becoming public. For example, in Primorye physical education teacher as a punishment forced children run around in hazmat suits and gas masks. And in Rostov-on-Don management of the Cossack school accused in the beating of a cadet.
