In Samara, a participant in the war in Ukraine attacked a woman with a child. He received a suspended sentence for this.

A woman entering the building's entrance reprimanded Trenin. In response, Dmitry Trenin began punching her in the head. The victim was in the elevator at the time, along with her daughter, and the fight occurred before her eyes. A security camera installed in the building's entrance captured the attack. 

According to the case file, the court found Trenin guilty but classified his actions as hooliganism, not battery. The court cited mitigating circumstances including Trenin's assistance in solving the crime, his cooperation with the investigation, and the fact that he had a young child. It also cited the fact that "Trenin was participating in special missions." The only aggravating circumstance was that the attacker was intoxicated. 

The victim demanded 500 rubles in compensation from Trenin, and after the incident, she had to see a psychiatrist. Furthermore, Trenin beat her in front of her daughter, causing psychological trauma to the child.  

However, the judge Maxim Golenko Sentenced Dmitry Trenin to one year of probation and ordered to pay 350 rubles in moral damages. The court also ruled that procedural costs should be recovered from the budget, as collecting them from the convicted man could significantly impact his family's living conditions.
