"He showed up for show." The Ryazan governor failed to notice the city's problems during his trip to Skopin.

Residents of a dormitory in the Avtozavodsky microdistrict of Skopin complained on the condition of the dormitory. On the same day, the governor Pavel Malkov I visited the regional center on a work trip, but I didn’t pay attention to the complaints of the townspeople.
"A cry from the heart! During the repair of the heating pipes, the contractor cut everything up and sent it to scrap metal; new pipes were not installed. Conditions are like a barn, there are no shared showers, the gas stoves are broken, the wooden floor is rotten, the house is cracking, they filled it with foam," — residents addressed the governor on VKontakte.
Residents also asked why the building was not declared unsafe and why people were not put on a waiting list to receive housing.

On the same day, Malkov wrote on his page about the visit new schools and kindergartens, construction new pharmaceutical plant and visiting center of folk crafts in Skopin. He named the area's problems as "roads, landscaping, and municipal waste." And he didn't mention the constant stench emanating from from the pig farm in Voslebovo, nor about the crumbling dormitory.
A post about his escort's behavior appeared in the comments; it was later deleted. However, the author commented on his post to a NeMoskva correspondent:
He arrived with his brazen escort of traffic police officers. They were acting brazenly, yelling at people to cross the road faster. He just showed up for show. — said local resident Alexandra.

Today, the Investigative Committee reported that the heating issue in the dormitory has been taken under control. The head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Ryazan Region reported on the progress of the investigation. Vladimir Nikeshkin must report to the central office.
Earlier, NeMoskva reported how during the direct line Malkov didn't answer not a single “inconvenient” question from Ryazan residents.
