"Maxim's gone, and to hell with him." How Tambov Oblast residents reacted to the resignation of Governor Maxim Yegorov.
For Diana Rudakova, former coordinator of Navalny's Tambov headquarters, three years of rule Maxim Egorov were remembered for the behind-the-scenes struggle he waged with the mayor.
There were also commissioned articles and the purchase of comments from bots, — Rudakova told NeMoskva. — He is also remembered for his complete approval of the war and the organization of recruiting centers. I sincerely hope that in the future he will be held criminally responsible for this.
According to Rudakova, Governor Yegorov was not remembered for anything else.

He didn't do anything useful, and the residents didn't welcome him as one of their own. I think in a couple of years, no one will remember him.

People are noticing that the region's budget is meager, which is why all the visiting officials are fleeing (before his appointment as governor of the Tambov region, Maxim Egorov held a high position in the federal Ministry of Construction).
«No one is raising our region from its knees. They used it up and then abandoned it, sadly.“,” noted one of the residents.
People are also not happy that a “hero of the SVO” has been appointed acting governor instead of Yegorov. Evgeny Pervyshov:

Diana Rudakova believes that little will change under the new governor.
I don’t see any reason why he and his work would be radically different from that of Egorov, — she said to "NotMoscow." Perhaps this latest appointee is even more “off the wall,” since he’s straight from the front into the governor’s chair.
The former coordinator of Navalny's headquarters believes that within Putin's vertical power structure, the position of Tambov governor is not all that honorable.
Because it is an economically unsuccessful region, there is no oil industry here, — she explains. — I don't think those appointed to this position feel any inspiration.
