Koschei will save the world: Tomsk students are developing a computer game based on Slavic myths.

The game "Hidden Soul" is based on folklore. Ancient RussiaAt the center is Koschei the Deathless, a young man at that, who will fight the forces of darkness. The development is being handled by the Cyberian Lynx studio, a team of seven students from Tomsk Polytechnic University.

"We decided to use Koschei the Deathless as the main character, not the familiar bogatyrs <>. He's a controversial character; all references to him in popular and children's culture are negative. However, according to mythology and assessments of his personality, he's more of a neutral character."- рассказал team leader Vyacheslav Tarasenko.

Koschei must assemble his own army of Slavic mythological heroes and return the dark spirits to the afterlife. Along the way, the game will "present situations requiring moral choices."
