"Is Vladivostok an aul?": Three cities in Primorsky Krai have lost their status.

Lesozavodsk, Partizansk и Dalnegorsk crossed From the status of urban districts to municipal ones. The corresponding decision was adopted unanimously by the regional legislative assembly deputies in two readings.
The reason for the change was the low population density. It varies there. 7 to 30 people per square kilometer, although, according to the standards, in urban areas the density should be no less 42,5 rights. Also, over the past five years, the number of people living in Lesozavodsk, Partizansk and Dalnegorsk has decreased by 3-5,5 thousand people.
"Of course, it's better to turn a city into a village or a town than to develop it! The roads are worthy of the title of 'USSR village.' No other city has 'better' roads than ours! Even though we write to our governor every year," "This is another breakthrough," "Is Vladivostok an aul?", "The stupid policy of ignoramuses is aimed at developing the south of Primorsky Krai, while the rest of the population is apparently being planned as Indians for the amusement of rich tourists," "Give people jobs and they won't leave," "Our city isn't developing as it is. No construction, no roads, no jobs. And now if they turn into towns, that's it, the cities and the people are screwed. Funding will be even smaller," local residents responded on social media.
