Scandals, ignorance, and degradation: A former United Russia member launched a petition calling for the resignation of the mayor of Krasnoyarsk.

Vyacheslav Dyukov called on his fellow deputies to initiate the process of early termination of Vladislav Loginov's powers.

"The city and its residents have found themselves held hostage by an incompetent municipal executive branch ravaged by metastases of corruption," the petition states. "Numerous scandals in various sectors, criminal cases against municipal contractors and officials who abused their power and were implicated in bribery, the degradation of the road network and city infrastructure, the disregard for Krasnoyarsk residents' opinions during the implementation of socially significant projects, and the mounting problems in the implementation of the KRT initiated by the city administration—all lie entirely on the conscience of Loginov and his 'team.'"

At the time of publication of this news, the petition had been signed by more than 450 people.

This isn't the first time Dyukov has demanded Loginov's resignation. In August 2024, he already listed the city's problems and linked them to the mayor's work.

That same August, Dyukov was expelled from United Russia by the Krasnoyarsk City Council. The reason was his statement that "over the past year, the people who have been recruiting contract soldiers have mostly been alcoholics, homeless people, bums, convicts, and so on." He made this statement in response to a complaint from the military commissar that he was unable to meet his quota for signing contracts for participation in the SVO due to the lack of athletes living in his district.

Then the police checked Dyukov’s words for “discrediting the army,” but found nothing.
