The MAKS aerospace show has been postponed again.

On the postponement of the MAKS aerospace show to 2026 сообщил head of Rostec Sergey Chemezov. According to Interfax, citing a source, the organizers will instead hold an online eMAKS project: the exhibition and demonstration programs will be presented exclusively on the air show's website.

"The cancellation is primarily due to safety concerns," one source noted. Furthermore, flagship civilian aircraft projects, such as the MS-21 and SJ-100, which could have been showcased at MAKS, are not expected until 2026.", the publication writes.

MAKS was initially cancelled in 2023. It was then postponed to 2024, and the organizers assured that the next air show would take place in 2025.

MAKS is the largest international exhibition of the aerospace industry, which is traditionally held every two years in the Moscow region.
