Wild boars are destroying dachas in the Sverdlovsk region.

The owners of the Neftyanik gardening community near the village of Ayat, 49 km from Yekaterinburg, encountered unexpected guests. A family of wild boars had taken to visiting their plots—eating their flowers, digging their snouts in the garden beds, breaking down the fence, and rummaging through the owners' belongings.

The summer residents tried to fight the "guests": they chased them with dogs, invited a hunter with a gun to shoot into the air, but the family turned out to be not the timid kind – they have no intention of leaving the SNT and are becoming increasingly brazen. 

"We can't get rid of them ourselves. They've been living with us since Monday and won't leave. We called 112 and apparently passed the information on to the right place. So, we're waiting, maybe someone will come and take them home to the forest," a local resident told reporters.
