In Buryatia, a free hotel at a datsan is planned to be used for the rehabilitation of military personnel.

The Tugnuisky Datsan plans to open a free hotel by 2026. All believers will be able to stay there. told "Regional aspect" in the datsan, separate places will be allocated for military personnel returning from the "SVO". 

"Military personnel will be able to come, talk with the lamas, and, so to speak, gain spiritual enrichment. And we will help them recuperate. The entire hotel is designed to accommodate 30 people, and ordinary believers from anywhere will be able to come there. A separate area will be allocated for the SVO participants, which will always be theirs," the datsan explained. 

The construction timeframe for the hotel at the datsan is approximate: all work is being carried out primarily at the expense of the believers. 

The head of the republic, Alexei Tsydenov, also spoke about the hotel's construction. He added that since 2019, the datsan got 500 rubles were awarded for territorial public administration project competitions. Another grant, the amount of which was not disclosed, was allocated for the reconstruction of Tsogchen Dugan.
