Saying they're starving is pointless—I see various animals in the area consistently once a week. But it's much easier for tigers to catch a dog in the village than to chase a deer or a roe deer."- said Olga, local resident.

Meanwhile, a tigress with two cubs was spotted in a neighboring village. She attacked a stray dog.
