Revenge for a friend has been named as a possible motive for a schoolboy's attack on a lyceum in Nizhnekamsk.

The attacker's name is Danis R., several Telegram channels reported. It is known that a mask, firecrackers, and tactical gloves were confiscated from him during his arrest. His parents have already been summoned to appear before investigators.

Mash claims that before attacking the lyceum, the teenager took several photos of himself wearing a mask and holding a knife and posted them to a classmates' chat.

A URA source in law enforcement reports that Danis himself was injured when he fired his own "hunter's signal" trigger. He was taken to the hospital with hand injuries, burns, and lacerations. He is in serious condition.

According to the Telegram channel "Bloody Lady," another tragedy occurred yesterday at Lyceum No. 37: a 13-year-old student died. Students say Danis "came for revenge."
