Traveling all over Russia in a Moskvich: Four auto travelers have already visited more than thirty Russian regions.

The participants of the "Moskvich-Polar Explorer" project are four friends from different Russian cities: Alexander Elikov in the Tver, Alexey Zhirukhin in the Samara, Natalia Shipovskaya in the Moscow region и Dmitry Gostinshchikov in the Cherepovets. They put I set myself a challenge: to drive a 1981 Moskvich through all 89 regions of Russia and make a film about each territory

"This has long since become the largest road trip in the history of our country, and our Moskvich-Polarnik is a symbol of accessible tourism. We've covered more than three years of travel and a massive 38-episode series. And this is just the beginning!" write travelers.

At this stage of the route, travelers drove along the highway backup Baikal-Amur Mainline and got to Severobaikalsk.

It wasn't without adventures.

"We've just hit the coldest temperatures (down to -50°C) and breakdowns are piling up one after another. And then, what every driver dreads happened—the car completely stopped. The engine died. We had to sit in the car for almost a day and light a fire. On top of the -30°C weather, there was a strong wind. But we're not losing heart!" describes the Project participant Alexey Zhirukhin shared the incident on his Telegram channel. All films shot by travelers in various regions can be viewed on Alexey Zhirukhin's YouTube channel. "Travel with meaning".
