Losses from Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian oil refineries in 2025 are estimated at more than 1 trillion rubles.
This was stated by the deputy general director of the insurance broker Mains Evgeny Borovikov.
"According to our estimates, direct losses in the oil and gas industry from drone strikes have long since exceeded 100 billion rubles, and together with lost profits and indirect losses, they exceed 1 trillion rubles." сказал Borovikov.
Previously "NeMoscow" Wrote The Russian budget's oil and gas revenues have fallen by almost a quarter, and oil pumping to refineries has fallen to its lowest level since 2010. One of the main reasons for this was unscheduled plant shutdowns due to drone strikes.
Many Russian oil refineries were put out of action for quite some time after Ukrainian drone strikes. For example, Rosneft's Ryazan oil refinery suspended processing of raw materials until the end of November after the drone attack on the night of November 15. They were attacked repeatedly Novokuibyshevsky, Afipsky, Volgograd, Saratov and many other refineries.
