"There's a surplus. Well, it's change": The company that built Putin's palace in Gelendzhik transferred 6,5 billion rubles to Alina Kabaeva's foundations — FBK
The Anti-Corruption Foundation has uncovered new facts related to the construction of a palace in Gelendzhik, which is arguably the "world's largest bribe." According to the FBK, it took approximately 20 years to build. The 68-hectare site includes an underground hockey complex, several restaurants, its own vineyards and winery, and a tunnel cut through the rock to access the sea. The total cost of the complex is estimated at one billion dollars.
During the construction, the formal owner of the palace was the firm Investment Solutions, which belonged to Putin’s friends. That same year, this money was transferred to charitable foundations. Alina Kabaeva, who is believed to be the mother of Vladimir Putin's two sons. Most of the tranche was deposited into a deposit account: in 2024 alone, Kabaeva received 660 million rubles in interest.
It is also specified that in December 2023, one of these funds ("Heavenly Grace") spent more than 30 million rubles on products from the "Imperial Peterhof Factory," which produces exclusive watches (Putin owns at least two models of these watches).
