A rally against the Telegram block was denied permission in Khabarovsk, allegedly due to park renovations. 

A rally against the Telegram block was scheduled to take place in the park of the Naval Officers' Club in Khabarovsk on March 6. However, today, activists received a letter stating that the rally was impossible: supposedly, the park was undergoing renovations and construction equipment was in operation, making it impossible to hold the rally. Volunteers from the department visited the site and found no equipment, only a sign on the fence.

"The administration approved and recommended holding the event there on February 24th. They just happened to be doing renovations there today. Our volunteers went there, but there was no equipment or barriers. After our videos were published, I received a message saying the administration had sent a vehicle with barriers," the rally organizers told NeMoskva. 

The application anticipated approximately 50 participants. The new event has not yet been announced.

"There's no point in appealing the refusal. We've already spent enough money on the rally. We ordered a banner for 5 rubles, and now we'll just throw it away. We don't want to waste money on the state fee," the party branch added.

The authorities refused to approve the protests, citing in some places the need for site repairs, while in others they insisted there were no blockades.
