And a stork has flown to us!

Valentina Novikova moved to the village in Tver region. She has several birdhouses in her yard and until this winter there was a stork's nest in which a pair with chicks lived.

While the couple was wintering in warmer climates, the stork's home was damaged by power engineers while repairing the wiring. Valentina couldn't bear to leave "her" birds without a home and began preparing for their arrival in advance. She constructed a future nest from birch branches. A boom lift was needed to install it.

Valentina approached both the local administration and power companies in search of equipment. Ultimately, everything worked out: today the storks have returned

“We really hope they will appreciate the new home,” says Valentina.
