Rescuers were unable to stop an oil spill that entered the river after an attack on the Tuapse marine terminal.

For several days, the oil spill into the river was contained by booms. However, today, heavy rains caused the water level to rise, and the operational headquarters recorded overflow - the oil slick has gone into the sea.

Sixty-six people and 14 pieces of equipment are involved in the cleanup efforts. Two floating vessels and two oil recovery units are also in operation.

According to local residents, fuel oil washed up on the coast, including on the city beach, which the mayor's office quickly cleaned up, and the remaining fuel oil fell asleep pebbles.
