In Taganrog, the Unified State Exam (USE) and Basic State Exam (BSE) may be interrupted during air raids. The city in the Rostov region has been repeatedly shelled.

In the city accepted New rules for final exams. In the event of an air raid hazard, students and teachers will be taken to shelters. After lights out, they will be able to return and continue the exam—the exam time will be extended by the number of minutes the children spent in the shelter.

Students may refuse to continue the exam after an alarm; they will be able to take it later, on a reserve day. 

Previously Rosobrnadzor allowed Suspend final exams in border areas in the event of an air raid alarm. The Ministry of Education has published lists of schools with special certification procedures in the Belgorod, Bryansk, and Kursk regions. Graduates of these schools can choose: pass exams or receive a certificate based on current grades.
