According to the Telegram channel "NOVOSIBIRSK LIFE", a high-ranking official was detained in Moscow.
The arrest of Yuri Petukhov also confirms The Telegram channel "Siberian Express" cited a source close to law enforcement agencies. However, the source emphasized that Novosibirsk law enforcement officials may have been unaware of the actions of their Moscow counterparts.
Who is Yuri Petukhov?
Yuri Petukhov took up the position of First Deputy Governor of the Novosibirsk Region 11 years ago. Prior to that, he worked in banking and then headed the regional electoral commission.
