Frida Kahlo, a black cat, and others. A resident of Vidnoye, Moscow Region, decorates the town with mosaics.

On the streets of the Moscow region the city of Vidnoye You can find more than a hundred small colorful mosaics. This is how a marketer decorates courtyards and alleys. Alexey Metlitsky.
"If a person is distracted for a second, notices something unusual in the urban environment, and smiles, then my mission is already accomplished."- says he.
Metlitsky began decorating the city more than three years ago. His project is called "Shards" The marketer figured out the mosaic-making technology himself, starting with simple figures—a goose, a watermelon, a black cat's face. Now he makes complex pieces, including a portrait of Frida Kahlo and entire phrases: "We are still human," "I dreamed the world was ruled by love."
Metlitsky arranges his works according to a clear logic: he placed a frog near a fountain, a broom near a bathhouse, and a bat lives on an abandoned water tower. His mosaics can be found through an interactive website. map.
Thousands of city residents follow the street artist's work on social media. Among them are those who destroy the mosaics, and utility workers paint them over them. The street artist was prepared for this.
