Ukraine attacked the oil refinery in Ufa again: Zelenskyy claimed the strike was 1300 km from the front.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced another successful operation using long-range drones. This time, the strike targeted a major oil refinery in the capital of Bashkortostan. According to the Ukrainian leader, the attack was a response to Russia's actions, and its goal was to force the Russian leadership to make peace.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy officially confirmed the drone strike on targets in Bashkortostan. He emphasized that the distance from the front line to Ufa is over 1300 kilometers.
"Our plan to impose long-term sanctions on Ukraine is being implemented daily. This is a completely fair response to everything Russia does against us," the Ukrainian leader stated. "We need peace, and this is precisely what the Russian leadership must understand."
Bashneft's oil refinery complex was hit
According to video footage and eyewitness accounts, the attack targeted the largest oil refinery complex in northern Ufa. This industrial hub includes the strategic enterprises Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim (with a design capacity of 9 million tons of raw materials per year) and Bashneft-UNPZ (with a capacity of approximately 7 million tons).
This same Ufa refinery cluster was previously targeted by drone strikes on June 25. The current attack marks the second serious incident at Bashkir refineries in a week.
Bashkortostan authorities remain silent, while Ufa's airport was closed.
Meanwhile, Bashkortostan authorities have not yet commented on the attack on the industrial zone of the republic's capital. There have been no posts on the Telegram channel of the regional governor, Radiy Khabirov, since June 30.
This morning, an emergency "Droneless Danger" state was declared in Bashkortostan and several neighboring regions of the Volga region. According to the Federal Air Transport Agency, Ufa International Airport temporarily suspended civilian aircraft arrivals and departures, leading to dozens of flight delays.
