An explosion rocked a restaurant in central Moscow, killing several and injuring dozens. Meanwhile, a record number of drones attacked Russian regions, with Wildberries warehouses and oil refineries again hit, and a public transportation collapse in Ulan-Ude.
Terrorist attack at Moscow restaurant leaves people dead
In Moscow, 21 people were injured and three more were killed in an explosion near the Balzi Rossi restaurant, according to the National Anti-Terrorism Committee. The assassination attempt was allegedly intended to target Colonel General Alexander Chaiko.
Kommersant's sources report that the organizers of the crime used a courier with a box containing an explosive device blindly, and detonated the device remotely. The courier claimed the box contained an ordinary gift, but a restaurant security guard became suspicious and decided to inspect the package further. At that moment, a powerful explosion occurred, killing the courier, the security guard, and one of the restaurant's patrons.
Record drone strike: fires at Wildberries refineries and warehouses
The Russian Ministry of Defense reports that 635 Ukrainian drones were shot down last night over various regions of Russia. Regrettably, two people were killed in the Saratov Region, as reported by Governor Roman Busargin. Both victims were residents of a damaged apartment building in the city of Engels.
In addition, serious damage to civilian infrastructure was recorded in Saratov itself, and a local oil refinery is also on fire.
Drones attacked a Wildberries warehouse in the Samara Region, as Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev officially confirmed. "There are no preliminary casualties. Logistics chains have been reorganized," marketplace representatives reported as usual.

Meanwhile, security forces detained three Volgograd residents for taking photos of drone attacks on a local Wildberries warehouse. One of the women posted the photo of the fire in a community chat, while the other posted it in a city chat, after which she discovered the image in Ukrainian sources. According to the local portal V1, "arrests continue."
Finally, in Ulan-Ude, 11 people were injured when two trams collided while traveling in the opposite direction. The accident occurred at the intersection of 50th Anniversary of October Avenue and Gagarin Street. According to one theory, the accident was caused by a malfunction in the automatic switch system.
