In Kamchatka, artist Tatyana Konovalenko has found an unusual way to help homeless cats. She creates portraits of pets to order, but instead of payment, she asks that donations be sent to a local shelter.

Charity art for the Obereg shelter

The artist collaborates with the Obereg shelter for homeless cats. As payment for her paintings, Tatyana asks customers to transfer money directly to the organization's account. This way, pet owners receive unique art, and the homeless pets receive the help and care they need.

Currently, only two works are completed, but Tatyana has no plans to stop there. In particular, commissioning a charity portrait doesn't require much from owners. All they need to do is send a photo of their pet, along with a short story about their character and life story. After that, the artist takes up paint and brushes.
