A Yakut village was left without heat due to boiler debts.

Heating season in the village Honey, where 600 people live, was supposed to begin on September 9. However, the radiators in the apartments are still cold.
Right now, according to weather forecast services, the outside temperature is hovering around 1 degree Celsius. And next night it will drop to minus 3 degrees Celsius.
People toldThe boiler plant has been disconnected from the power supply due to a debt of almost 10 million rubles. Another 12 million rubles are owed to coal suppliers. Because of this, supplies for the heating season have not been purchased.
The authorities emphasize that the boiler house isn't the only one with debts—residents of the village are almost 50 million rubles behind on their heating bills. Therefore, no organizations are willing to replace the bankrupt one, "due to the population's low solvency."
Now people heat their apartments with space heaters, and the indoor temperature is maintained at +12 degrees.
