"What Roskomnadzor thinks a desktop should look like"
A Reddit user posted a post with this title and a picture on the topic. It sparked a wave of "sad hilarity." Commenters began vying to point out which other apps he'd forgotten to add to complete the "stitching" experience. They also joked, sadly, that an "incorrectly" configured phone could land him in jail.
However, this is not so far from the truth now. From a member of the Human Rights Council Eva Merkacheva was is knownCourts have begun to consider VPNs and privacy settings in messaging apps "methods of conspiracy." When choosing a preventive measure, this has become an argument in favor of placing a person in a pretrial detention center instead of a travel ban or house arrest, Merkacheva asserts.
Apparently, all that's left is to joke—we've collected the comments on our cards. There's also another user's version, which includes the apps "Cheburnet," "ShamanMusic," and "Go to SVO," and the operating system is called "GoidaOS."

Desktop according to Roskomnadzor
The first slide shows a smartphone screen with the caption "What's the desktop like according to Roskomnadzor?" It features icons for MAX, VK Video, Yandex, OZON, Wildberries, Market, Yandex Music, Yandex Maps, and Beeline.
Reactions under the post
Slides two through seven are screenshots of comments. Users ask why the list doesn't include Gosuslugi, the tax service app, VK and VK Messenger, RuTube, Yandex Go, VTB Bank, Russian Post, Russian Railways, and RuStore. One reproaches the author for forgetting VK. Another reminds everyone that Odnoklassniki has been forgotten, and a third asks why Putin isn't on the wallpaper.
Other comments touch on wallpaper and government. One believes that wallpaper featuring monsters could offend religious sensibilities, while bright colors could promote LGBT rights. Another asks why there's no flag on the wallpaper, calling the author a foreign agent and a traitor to the motherland. Yet another writes that Roskomnadzor (the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media) believes that phones should only have "GosUslugi," "GosSoobshcheniya," "GosSvyaz," and "GosRazvlecheniye" (State Entertainment). Someone asks if the author is hoping for criminal prosecution, while another suggests contacting the nearest police department to get an explanation of what a patriotic citizen's "proper" desktop should look like.
A separate comment concerns marketplaces: according to the commentator, they import goods from "bourgeois" countries, and with names in English.
Second screen option
The eighth slide is another user's screen. It features "Cheburnet," ShamanMusic, "Channel 1," "PlotiNalogi," "Maxim," vodka, "LUKOIL" with the captions "Gas Queue," "Denounce a Neighbor," Z-Channel, "Soloviev LIVE," "iCredit," "Go to SVO," "Find a Shoe Stallion," and "Kiosk." The wallpaper says "GoidaOS," and the dock says "Goida search."
