"If I wanted to make a fortune, I'd act like all my other colleagues": Novosibirsk's Novocollege announced its closure.

A publication about this appeared in the Telegram channel “Novocollege for our own”, and the reasons for the closure commented In a long video, the founder of the educational institution and a representative of the owner Sergei Chernyshov.
"It's impossible to run a normal college in an abnormal country. We've spent the last year not working, fending off all sorts of inspections. So it's impossible to pretend everything is normal.", explains the college team.
Novocollege will cease its operations in July 2024, immediately after the end of the academic year, graduation, and the completion of all documents.
"This is outrageous and a betrayal! Of students, teachers, and our country," "Give me my tuition back," "How can I transfer to other colleges after this kind of 'training' if they won't accept me because of you?", "Good job, bro, you took all the money and screwed everyone," "Scammer," — the comments under the news were filled with similar messages, presumably from Novocollege students and their parents.
"Over the past two years, especially during the period when I was designated a foreign agent, many have accused me of everything but fraud—simply because it's hard to find anything to support it. My salary at the college was always less than that of the leading professors.", I didn't make any money at college. If I had, I would have behaved like all my other colleagues.", responded to the accusations in a conversation with NeMoskva Sergey Chernyshov.
In his opinion, a college that publicly speaks about humanistic values cannot exist in a society where values mean little:
"All these comments [under the news about the closure] once again prove that the decision was the right one. As you can see, very few people thanked us for holding on for two years and not allowing propaganda to get in. We were so proud of this, but it turns out it's completely unimportant for the vast majority of students and their parents."
