Tomsk violist Anna Chagina was found guilty of repeatedly "discrediting the Russian army."

As punishment, Judge Roman Zainulin fined him 100,000 rubles and banned him from posting online for two years. This decision was made for two reposts of works by philosopher Nikolai Karpitsky from Slovyansk, Ukraine.

Anna delivered her final remarks: "War is causing irreparable damage to our countries. I believe no one can win this war. Only love can win. Love always remains. Even now, when soldiers are shooting at each other, when people are dying. It still remains."

She also recalled that Kyiv is the mother of Russian cities and that the first Russian saints refused to kill their brothers.

Prosecutor Dmitry Lebedko requested a 150,000-ruble fine for Anna Chagina. The court reduced the fine to 100,000 rubles. According to Anna's lawyer, this is the minimum penalty under this article.

Let us add that Anna Chagina was previously fined 45 rubles for "discrediting the army." On March 6, she attended an anti-war rally with a sign reading "Blessed are the peacemakers," where she was detained by security forces.
