Activists in Russia continue to protest, demanding that Adam Kadyrov be held criminally accountable for the beating of Nikita Zhuravel, a man accused of burning the Koran, in pretrial detention.

In Perm, an activist held a picket in front of the local Investigative Committee building with a sign reading, "Wanted criminal. His father's son." Before this, the young man had filed a complaint against Adam Kadyrov.

"Surprisingly, the documents were approved, albeit with some hesitation from the head of the department. But whether the application will move forward is another matter," пишет Telegram channel "Molotov!"

Earlier, picketers in St. Petersburg and Moscow demanded attention be drawn to Adam Kadyrov's actions. In St. Petersburg, Alexander Sidelev out with a sign reading "I/We are Nikita Zhuravel." Police detained him, accusing him of violating COVID-19 restrictions.
