"A portal to the Middle Ages." This is how residents of the Kuban city of Temryuk describe their clinic.
A subscriber to the TEMRYUK INFO Telegram channel sent a video filmed in a district clinic. The level of devastation shown in it is impressive even compared to other provincial hospitals and clinics:
"A portal to the Middle Ages." "It seems even Soviet power hasn't reached here yet, let alone the 21st century.", — commentators write.
The basement is particularly impressive: it contains a toilet.
"When I go down there, I feel like a maniac is going to stab me. It's scary, like in a horror movie."" , patients share their impressions. However, many write that the basement toilet is closed for renovations—only the outside toilet is open.
There is no elevator: "Old people and sick people have to crawl up and down stairs to get a chest x-ray or see a doctor."
Judging by the majority of reviews on the channel and Yandex Maps (where the clinic is rated at an average of 1,2 stars), the level of medical care here is also subpar—though patients don't expect anything else: "What kind of clinic, what kind of service", good doctors don't stay here long - "Everyone went to private clinics."
Commentators are calling on local authorities to come and inspect the clinic's condition, but the authorities are aware of it. According to a local public group, district council members visited the clinic in the fall. "They are verified sanitary conditions, talked with patients and medical staff, discussed preferential provision of medications, test tubes for tests, and medical examinations of the population." and much more, after which all proposals for the work of the medical institution were "management has accepted and taken control of them."
